Soozhee, an artist with many hats, has always been passionate about music, and set out to create a unique style of music that mixes her passions and some of her outlooks about life.

As a result, Soozhee forged together and is now a curator of a range of music that she believes represents her individuality and layers that many may simply describe as weird. (Which she owns like a boss). Her collection of work introduces Earth listeners to a new possibility of how music may be interpreted and perhaps listened to. She achieves this by mixing unfamiliar vocabulary and sounds that may be best described as potential languages beyond “Earth”. Mixed in with familiar electro sounds & beats provided by one of Australia’s most popular and renowned DJ & Producer, Lenny Pearce.

To Soozhee, it was not about becoming popular or being on TV or radio, but was simply about genuinely creating something she can proudly own, share and hope others might be able to genuinely enjoy or connect to.

“I imagine if Music were a “being”, it would have a language of its own that transcends all words, meaning and limits beyond all cultures.” Soozhee shared.

“If we were to close our eyes and let go of the meaning that comes from the lyrics and just feel the flow, rhythm, sound, harmony and tempo of how the connection of every element within the song makes us FEEL, then I reckon we are truly hearing and communicating with Music itself.”

Soozhee’s debut album “Miss Home (Next Stop Earth)” is written by Soozhee, and produced by Australia’s Lenny Pearce.

Lenny Pearce is a DJ and producer, who is part of Australian music group royalty Justice Crew, and who is also the other half of very successful pop duo RUMOR. Lenny is definitely making his mark in the industry as a force to be reckoned with, so it was a no-brainer for Soozhee to team up with Lenny for Miss Home (Next Stop Earth).

The album aims to prove that perhaps music is universal after all, and no matter the language, music can still evoke, inspire, entertain and conjure feelings for every individual listener.

“I feel that the more we can listen to Music in this way, the more we may then drop our expectations of how things should be, and instead learn to get good at listening and communicating with a being that is such a part of our daily life and yet is also such an Eternal presence of life itself.”
